Our Policies

Minimum Stay Requirements are applicable at many times throughout the year. Please check with Aerie House for specific requirements.

Rates are for one or two people staying in the accommodation. There is an additional cost of $30 per person per night for additional guests in the Eagle Nest Suite (Room 1) and Room 4, our Junior Suite.

Provincetown is famously dog friendly and Aerie House extends a welcome to dogs as well as people. There is an additional charge of $15 per night for dogs staying with us. Dogs must be well behaved and get along with people and other dogs as we have two black Labs ourselves, Duff and Coal. Please note that the owners of any dogs that disrupt other guests will be asked to remove their dog immediately.  We also have a complete listing of restaurants where you can dine with your pooch in the Dining Section under the Things To Do tab.  Your dog can frolic off-leash on the nearby Town Harbor Beach from 6am to 9am and 6pm to 9pm from Memorial Day to NOV 1 and at anytime from NOV 2 to Memorial Day.  The National Seashore beaches such as Herring Cove and Race Point require your dog to be leashed at all times.  Provincetown also boasts a world-class dog park, the Pilgrim Bark Park, which is located at the intersection of Route 6 and Shank Painter Road.  Expert vet services are provided by Herring Cove Animal Clinic, 508 487-6449.

We do allow more than one dog per room and the $15 nightly dog fee plus tax still applies regardless of the number of dogs.  Please note our reservation system can only functionally charge per dog so to get around this just indicate when booking that you have one dog and then indicate in the comments the actual number.  That way you will only be correctly charged the $15 plus tax nightly dog fee.

A 50% deposit is required at time of booking.  American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa are accepted. Personal checks for deposits need to be received within 7 days of making the reservation and at least 14 days prior to arrival.

Final payment for the balance is required at check-in and can be paid by credit card or cash. Please note we can not accept personal checks for final payment.

Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund less a 10% administrative fee. Refunds for cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will only be made if the room is rerented for the entire stay less a 10% administrative fee. There are no refunds for No Shows, Cancellations received on day of arrival, or early departures.

Smoking of any kind is not allowed within the Guesthouse or on our grounds.  Smokers will need to go to the street, Miller Hill Road, to smoke.  While recreational marijuana is legal in Massachusetts, smoking marijuana falls under our smoking policy and is not allowed onsite.

Check-in time is 2:00pm and checkout time is 11:00am.

Cars must be removed from our parking area at checkout time.
