Summer arrives as Provincetown breaks out with pride, rowing, movie stars and linguica.
June 4 to 7 – Women of Color & Friends Weekend. A special long weekend of parties, seminars, workshops and even a talent show. UPDATE – Due to the Corona Virus this event has been postponed until 2021.
June 5 to 7 – Provincetown Pride Weekend. Provincetown’s third Gay Pride Festival returns after wildly successful celebrations in 2018 and 2019. UPDATE – Canceled for 2020 due to COVID-19
June 5 – Provincetown Coastal Rowing Regatta. Not just for rowers this year as a mini triathlon has been added to the schedule. UPDATE – Canceled for 2020 due to COVID-19
June 17 to 21 – Provincetown International Film Festival. Hollywood comes to Ptown with a full schedule of movie debuts and parties. UPDATE – Due to the Corona Virus the Film Festival for 2020 has been canceled.
June 25 to 28 – Provincetown Portuguese Festival. Everyone is Portuguese when Provincetown celebrates it’s Portuguese heritage with four days of live music, dancing, parades, food, games and more capped off by the Blessing Of The Fleet on Sunday. UPDATE – Due to the Corona Virus the Portuguese Festival for 2020 has been canceled though the Blessing Of The Fleet is still happening.
